There were a number of creative set pieces, and I loved when they brought the kids on for the finale. They explore jazz but cant scat and likewise label it is as a concept. Ive seen a lot of masks and creepy contacts in K-pop already. But, it didnt leave as much impact as some of the earlier performances. Im very thankful that iKON was part of this show, mostly thanks to their atittude which help lossen up the atmosphere ( and a bit of exposure they gained). This performance had a surprising amount of leapfrogging! Ive always considered Ateez as being high level performers but man, The Boyz and Stray Kids look undeniably threatening in their performances. Im not sure many of the performances tonight will have the same longevity. Theyre still basking in that glory as they meet for drinks in what looks like a large, fancy greenhouse. I feel like this is going to be a season where none of the groups are able to perform as a complete unit. I hope we see him in the next comeback (Im someone whos much more interested in restorative justice than terminable punishment. BTOB was nice since theirs was different and they actually seemed to sing live (thank god). TBZ comes next because their performance didnt disappoint as winners in RTK.
