5 Reasons To Buy a Second-Hand Leica M-D Typ 262 I have purchased an M262 and, given my budget, a Voigtlander Ultron 35mm (which I have read is actually a really good lens). I dont need to get excited by them dont get me wrong, theres fun in a camera that provides some sort of novelty initially, but longer-term I just need my cameras to work in a way that suits me. I shoot with 35mm and 50mm lenses. At this point, Leica will probably keep video for its SL series. I typically use a 75mm lens on my M 262. One of the advantages of live-view is the same as one of the advantages of rangefinder cameras they both allow you to observe the world outside of the frame. I drive a 15 year old car for example, dont buy clothes often, have one pair of shoes, etc. Bear in mind I have not held or shot an M10, my information comes from extensive reading of user experiences. In the real world, I was making the M9 work for me in terms of low light shooting, as such, I have literally never found a single issue with high ISO noise from the M262. My biggest problem with the digital M bodies is I cant use my Summicron DR on them (although, havent tested it on an M10 yet). Great pictures and very interesting. Functionalism be damned. Im not sure about the iso dial though, I feel like thats a feature that would really suit me. I posted this as a person of experience.
